YOUTH LIVESTOCK PREMIUM SALE

10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, and lunch afterwards.

Judge will pick all sale order for market animals.

​

1. Exhibitor must show their own animal in the Premium sale or forfeit all premium sale money.

2. Each exhibitor that qualifies may sell only one animal with the following exceptions:

• Grand Champion Steer, Hog, Market Goat, Market Lamb, Feeder Steer, Meat Rabbit, Fryar Rabbit, 4-H Pullets Poultry Chain sell regardless of exhibitor. See individual departments for details.

• Reserve Champion Steer, Hog, Market Goat, Market Lamb, Market Rabbit, Fryar Rabbit, 4-H Poultry Chain, Supreme Heifer and Supreme  bull sell regardless of exhibitor.

• Supreme Champion Heifer - Supreme Champion will be judged from the breed champions. There must be more than one breed exhibited. Commercial heifers don't show for Supreme.

• Supreme Champion Bull - Supreme Champion will be judged from the breed champions. There must be more than one breed exhibited.

3. Each exhibitor that qualifies may take 1 animal through the sale with the exception of Grand and Reserve Grand (see rule). If exhibitor qualifies with more than 1 animal the exhibitor may chose which animal will go through the sale. Judge picks sale order!

4. Sale will consist of:

•      All Market Steers

•      Supreme and Reserve Supreme Heifer

•      Supreme and Reserve Supreme Bull

•      Grand and Reserve Meat Rabbit

•      Grand and Reserve Fryar Rabbit

•      Grand and Reserve 4-H Pullet Poultry Chain

•      Best in Show Goat

•      25% of the following number of entries in each category:   

  • Market Lamb​

  • Market Hogs

  • Feeder Steers

  • Commercial Heifers

  • Market Goats

Grand and Reserve go automatically and are not included in the 25%.

5. Animal may only be sold once in sale.
