Entry Fee - $25 

Must sell 50 Raffel Tickets ($1 for 1 or $5 for 6 $150 gift card) 

Judging is based on appearance, personality, and horsemanship. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND RULES  

1. Contestants must not be less than 1 or more than 5 years of age as of January 1 of the      current year. 

 2. The contestant must live within 100 miles of Pike County. 

3. NO STALLIONS ARE PERMITTED. 

 4. Entry constitutes agreement to release Pike County Fair and Rodeo from all liability. CHAPERONES Contestant must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or chaperone appointed by parent/guardian. The chaperone must be present at registration and remain with the contestant throughout the contest.  

5. HORSES - Horses must be accompanied by the original report of negative EIA test within 12 months prior to exhibition.  

6. DRESS REQUIREMENTS - Each contestant should come prepared with enough WESTERN ATTIRE for the event, including an interview session and Horsemanship competition. During Horsemanship Competition, contestants can wear their choice of long sleeve western attire and jeans. Hats are required during all phases of the competition, including the interview. Chaps are not allowed. There will be a Queen run at the end of horsemanship, you will be judged.  

7. Tack – NO English tack. Western Tack only.  No Tie Downs
