Rules & Regulations

  • Contestants must be a resident of Pike County.​

​

  • Contestants must be 18-23 years old the day of the pageant. A 17 year old may compete in the Miss division if she is a senior in high school.

​

  • Winner is encouraged to attend the Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant. If winner chooses to attend the Arkansas State Fair Queen contest, the Pike County Fair Board will award $250 to the winner to help cover costs associated with competing at the Arkansas State Fair.  All other Miss Pike County contestants are eligible to compete in the District Fair Queen Pageant.

  • Contestants and winner must maintain a moral code of ethics as determined by the Pike County Fair Board.

​

  • Contestants will be judged on stage during Introduction (interview attire) and Formal Evening Gown and privately in Interview. This competition will be held on Saturday, Aug 23.  See the fair schedule or PAGEANT link for specific times.​

​

  • If already holding another county's title, a contestant may not enter a Pike County Fair pageant. If named a Pike County Fair Queen/King, a contestant may not enter another county's pageant in the same year.​

​

  • Contestants must have never been married or had children. Winner must remain as such throughout her reign.​​

​

  • Entry form and $50 entry fee must be turned before the deadline to enter (Aug. 21, 2025). No late entries will be accepted.  Enter and pay online (preferred) or click the "printable forms" link for a paper form and pay with cash/check. â€‹ â€‹

​

  • Optional rehearsal will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 1:00 - 4:00 at the fairgrounds. If paying via cash/check, entry forms and fees can be turned in at rehearsal or by contacting one of the phone numbers below. 

​

  • Contestant numbers will be drawn at random the day after the deadline. This will be posted on the Pike County Fair & Rodeo Facebook page.

​

  • Contestants are encouraged to ride in the Pike County Fair Parade.  Winners must ride in the Pike County Fair Parade. ​

​

  • If it is determined that a contestant or guardian of a contestant provided false information (Ex. fake or incorrect address) on the Entry/ Emcee Form, the contestant will be disqualified. If it is determined after prizes and titles have been awarded, the title and prizes will be forfeited immediately.​

​

  • ​Prizes will be awarded. If named a Pike County Fair Queen and the winner is unable to fulfill her reign for any reason, all prizes and monies must be returned to the Pike County Fair Board. Violation of any of rules may be cause for revocation of title. This will be determined by the pageant director and Pike County Fair Board.​

​

  • Only contestant will be admitted free to the contest.​

​

  • Dressing rooms - NO PHOTOGRAPHS, only 1 chaperone per contestant allowed at a time (no men).

​

  • To enter photogenic, bring your photo(s) and $5 per entry on the day of the pageant.

​

  • The Pike County Fair Board is not responsible for accidents or theft.

​
